Situation: Untenable fixed overheads increasing margin pressure and making bid economics for drilling tenders unfavorable. Higher day-rate pricing made bids uncompetitive.

Task: Assist in reducing and/or removing the fixed overheads and propose a “variable” price model to allow and cap the exposure per rig on a day-rate basis

Action: Outsource the entire Asset management function for the shallow-water division on a per rig per day pricing model, with a malus clause on the technical utilization of the assets. Service includes a) Engineering Support ,b) Technical Field and CMMS System Support, c) Downtime Support , d) Project Management , e) Capital Spares Management, f) OPEX Spend Management , and g) Technical Marketing Support.
